About Us
Born and raised on the outskirts of Strasbourg in Alsace, France, Christophe’s earliest family memories are about food. When he was young, Christophe's parents home centered around the kitchen, where each day his mother would prepare lunch and dinner. "I would wake every morning to the most wonderful smells", reminisces Christophe. Since his young age, Christophe knew he would become a chef. When he was 19, he got in the prestigious Culinary School of Strasbourg where he studied for 3 years learning all the bases of the French Cuisine. Right after his study, Christophe worked for l'Arnsbourg, one of the 50 world's best restaurant located in France, where he learned a new way of cooking called Molecular Gastronomy. Then he had another experience to complete his Traditional French cooking skills at a restaurant called “La Bonne Auberge”. He arrived in the United States 2 years ago where he worked for 2 years for the “Willard Hotel” in Washington DC.In 2009, Christophe decided to create “Personal Chef DC”.
